Elowyn is my latest baby sculpture offering and is available with many options – she can be either a human or magical elf/fairy baby! You may choose to purchase this kit with full limbs, 1/4 limbs, or just the head, so you can make your own cuddle baby!
She makes a larger, fun-to-dress 20-21 inch doll when completed. Elowyn comes with pre-made eye sockets and has the option to come with a pre-opened mouth with a tongue for an added charge. She is poured in EcoFlex 20 Platinum silicone in your choice of 3 skin tones. You can choose to dress this doll as a girl or a boy.
Elowyn is an OPEN edition. I reserve the right to open and close the edition at my own discretion. She will be sold as either a blank kit or a finished doll by me. *******NOTE: The human version will be produced as a vinyl doll kit this summer. I may choose to reuse her limbs for a different doll in the future at my discretion.

Elowyn the Fairy, a 5-piece doll sculpt with CLOTH body, was lovingly sculpted from clay by me, Dawn Donofrio, in 2022. I worked on this baby for months, putting the project down several times, to make sure every detail was just right. She was sculpted as a human baby, but I decided to add a little fun and variety by adding an option with fairy ears. I sent this sculpt out to be perfectly molded and poured by Maria Lynn Dolls, in soft, ecoflex 20 platinum silicone, that mimics the feel of real baby skin! When I got her back in silicone, the work to bring her to life began.
The baby doll in this auction is the second pour from the mold, and the first fairy version that has pointy fairy ears added on. She is an open-edition doll, that I will close at my own discretion.
Only top-quality materials were used in finishing this special fairy baby doll. I have chosen to give her a pale caucasian skin tone, with some greenish tones on her ears. Her lifelike skin glows with realism from layer upon layer of rich tones of silicone paint, meticulously applied over several days time. No detail was spared from her head to her tiny toes!
Elowyn the Fairy is a painted and finished silicone head with full limbs on a cloth doll body. Like any piece of art, she has minor imperfections in the painting, which is normal and adds to the uniqueness of her hand-finishing.
This Elowyn has beautiful light gray Lauscha glass eyes (which appear light blue), imported directly from Germany, that shine with realism. I set the eyes in a way that makes it appear like she is looking right at you when you hold her in your arms!
She has an open mouth, and you can see her cute, inset tongue inside when you gently squeeze her cheeks. She can take a small pacifier.
This Elowyn was expertly rooted with soft, super-fine, straight, platinum-blonde Delta Dawn mohair, by Doris Brundige. Because of the delicate nature of this particular hair, it requires extra care to be taken when gently handling or brushing. A silicone doll’s hair cannot be sealed into the head like a vinyl reborn, so you must be extra careful when brushing or styling. Elowyn’s lashes are hand-rooted and her eyebrows are hand-painted.
Though Elowyn is a doll, she is a high-end collectible piece of art and is not a child’s toy. She is not intended for “play,” as extended and rough handling or rubbing will decrease her integrity as a piece of art. You may handle her gently and change her clothes carefully. Her hair can be misted with water and brushed very gently with a toothbrush, as well.
Elowyn is a larger baby, at 21 inches in length, with legs bent, and weighing 8lbs. She has a head circumference of 16 inches. She looks and feels just like a real baby.
Elowyn will come home with 2 outfits, including the special fairy outfit with tulle, which includes a matching hat and headband, and the soft footed-sleeper outfit with beige fairy hat, and blanket. Elowyn’s fairy wings are the first pair I have ever made and I will include them with her if you want them, however, they are not perfect! (just so you are aware) She will also come with her lilac color pacifier with a pretty wooden clip. Other photo props, including baby wraps and flowers, and striped socks are NOT included. She will come with a certificate of authenticity from me.
This very special doll is the SECOND doll pulled from the mold (FIRST FAIRY), and my personal prototype sample, sculpted and finished by me. Tons of photos of her have been shared on my Facebook and Instagram accounts ahead of this auction.
